5 tips to feel good and look great

To look attractive and feel good, you need to incorporate some healthy habits into your lifestyle...

When you feel happy and relaxed in your life, you begin to radiate an energy and a certain light, which everyone can notice.

At Jongleur we believe that the best way to take care of our appearance and look good is to take care of ourselves. But let's face it: life gets a little crazy for all of us sometimes.

Sometimes, it can be difficult to find moments for yourself and relaxation in the midst of everyday chaos.

It's easy to “feel your best” when you're on vacation, out to dinner with your best friend, or in an amazing yoga class. But life includes many other things too.

Still, we can't control everything. We can't make everything perfect. (And it's actually very stressful to try.) Sometimes, life brings us stress, difficulties, from day to day life that make us feel bad, overloaded or distressed and that is reflected on the outside.

So how can you “feel your best” even when difficult things are happening around you?

The truth is that you are going to feel good if you are confident in your overall appearance. Self-love is the most important thing to feel and look good.

We share 5 tips so you can start feeling good and looking great:

1. Look for things to appreciate

Whatever situation you're going through right now, whether you have a lot of work, a lot of housework, or a grumpy partner, you can always take a step back, change your outlook, and look for what you want. Whatever you can appreciate, at that very moment.

For example, if your partner is cranky and tired, you can choose to recognize that it's because he or she has been working hard on a creative project and remind yourself how much you appreciate his or her incredible, dynamic creativity.

If you're bombarded with five job applications at once, you can take three seconds, change your perspective, and appreciate that you love what you do for a living.

This is going to change your focus. Instantly, it will make you feel freer and more able to enjoy what is happening.

2. Move

We're not telling you to do a marathon. Just moving your body a little to feel good radically increases your happiness quotient, no matter what's happening.

You can dance, run or take a brisk walk.

Even standing up and jumping, shaking things, for 30 seconds, can energize you, move your cells, and change things inside you to make it easier to smile.

And an added bonus: doing this speeds up your circulation, so your cheeks blush and you get a little glow. Do that and you'll start to see that external glow reflected on your skin.

3. Brighten your eyes

Bright, sparkling eyes can communicate a lot about a person. When your gaze is illuminated, it transmits a feeling of enthusiasm, vitality and health. It is felt inside and seen outside.

It is normal that with day-to-day tasks, we feel tired.

4. Set early bedtimes

It's a fact, if you don't get enough sleep, you feel bad all day. Plus, it shows on your face. You may look haggard, have those puffy eyes, and in the long run, you may get wrinkles or gain weight. No amount of makeup can cover them.

Establishing healthy sleep patterns means sleeping and waking up at the same time every day. If you prioritize your sleep, everything else follows. You will be able to concentrate well at work, you will be able to get rid of food cravings and you will always be in a better mood.

5. Always smile!

Get used to smiling all the time. Even if your day isn't going as well as you planned or there's too much toxicity around you, learn to smile at everyone you meet, even strangers. Smiling can make you look more attractive and younger.

Additionally, people are easily attracted to people who smile because they give off a positive vibe. By smiling, you are also conditioning your brain to feel happy. See how feeling good and looking good always has that connection?
